The Koch Brothers: My New Heroes

I didn’t know who the Koch brothers were until the progressive, socialist, and communist organizations started protesting them. So I decided to find out who they are and what they stand for and have become extremely impressed with their accomplishments in business, stewardship, and philanthropy.

Like any other accomplished persons the Koch brothers have their detractors to be sure. Some of them may dislike them out of sheer jealousy, others may dislike them due to past business deals and have an axe to grind against them, but it seems that most of them dislike the Koch brothers for pure ideological reasons. Who’s Back Needs Scratching Next…

The protest in Wisconsin have done what no reporter or conservative politician could…got people to finally look at the public sector unions. There have been a few throw away articles from some conservative leaning publications to be sure but nothing that seemed to capture the interest of the everyday man. But now, the everyday man is seeing close up the hysterics being thrown by organized labor and that has got them asking why.

At first glance it’s a simple economic matter and Gov. Walker has been stating mainly that point. The state has a $3 Billion deficit and re-negotiating the teachers and other public employee groups pay packages is what they need to do. But included in this new deal is the removal of collective bargaining right. That is the real battle that is being waged. That is why from the President on down Democrats across the board are throwing in with the unions. Read more of this post
